JJB BARGAINS — Return & Refund Policy
This Return & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made from JJB Bargins.
By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms set out below.
1. No Returns – All Sales Final
All sales are final.
JJB Bargains does not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for unwanted items, incorrect sizing, change of mind, or ordering errors.
Customers are responsible for reviewing product descriptions, sizing information, and order details carefully before completing a purchase.
2. Statutory Rights (UK Customers)
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
If your item is:
-
Faulty
-
Damaged upon delivery
-
Not as described
You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
We reserve the right to:
-
Request clear photographic evidence
-
Request return of the item for inspection
-
Refuse claims where evidence is insufficient
Failure to notify us within 48 hours may result in your claim being declined.
3. Fault Assessment
If a fault claim is accepted, we will determine the appropriate remedy in accordance with UK law, which may include:
-
Repair
-
Replacement
-
Refund
We reserve the right to choose the remedy offered.
We are not responsible for:
-
Normal wear and tear
-
Accidental damage
-
Misuse or improper care
-
Damage caused by third parties
-
Minor variations in colour or finish
4. Refunds (Where Legally Required)
If a refund is approved, it will be processed to the original payment method.
Refunds will only cover the purchase price of the affected item. Delivery charges are non-refundable unless required by law.
We are not responsible for any bank or card processing delays once a refund has been issued.
5. Incorrect Orders
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all order details, including size, quantity, and delivery address, are correct at checkout.
We do not offer refunds for:
-
Incorrect sizes ordered
-
Incorrect items selected
-
Failure to read product descriptions
6. Refused or Undeliverable Orders
If an order is refused at delivery or returned to us due to incorrect address information provided by the customer, we reserve the right to deduct shipping and administrative costs before issuing any refund, where applicable.
7. Chargebacks
If a customer initiates a chargeback without first contacting us to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to dispute the chargeback with evidence of delivery and acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
Fraudulent chargebacks may be reported to relevant authorities.

Found a bargain that isn’t quite right? No worries — here’s how our returns and refunds work.
At JJB Bargains, we want you to be happy with your purchases. We sell all sorts of goodies, from brand-new bargains and clearance stock to discontinued lines, surplus stock and pre-loved finds. Because our stock can be a bit of a lucky dip, please check each product’s description, condition, size and other details before ordering.
This policy applies to purchases made through the JJB Bargains website. Nothing in this policy takes away any rights you have under UK consumer law.
1. Changed your mind?
Shopping online means you generally have the right to cancel most purchases within 14 days of receiving your goods, without needing to give a reason.
If you wish to cancel, let us know clearly within that period using the contact details on our website. You’ll usually then have a further 14 days to send the goods back.
Items should be returned in suitable condition, with any included accessories and packaging where reasonably possible. You may be responsible for the direct cost of return postage if we told you this before you placed your order.
Some products are excluded from the usual cancellation right under UK law. If an exception applies to an item, we’ll make this clear where required.
Please note: a bargain is a bargain, but buying something by mistake doesn’t automatically mean we can cancel an order that has already been dispatched. Contact us as soon as possible and we’ll see what we can do.
2. Faulty, damaged or not as described?
We do our best to describe our products accurately, but occasionally something can go wrong.
If your item arrives faulty, damaged, incomplete or significantly different from its description, please contact us as soon as you can. Include your order number and, if possible, clear photographs showing the issue. This helps us understand what’s happened and sort things out quicker.
You do not lose your statutory rights by failing to report a problem within 48 hours. UK consumer law sets out the rights and remedies that apply, depending on the circumstances and when the problem arises.
Depending on the issue and the applicable law, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund. We’ll assess the situation and work with you to find the appropriate remedy.
Where we need an item returned for inspection, we’ll explain the next steps. If the item is faulty or not as described, we’ll cover reasonable return costs where required by law.
3. A quick word about clearance and pre-loved stock
We sell a mixed bag of products, and not every item comes straight off the production line.
Some items may be discontinued, open-box, pre-loved, have damaged outer packaging, or show signs of previous handling. Where relevant, we’ll explain the item’s condition in its product listing.
Please read the listing carefully before buying. A condition or feature that was clearly and accurately disclosed before purchase may not, by itself, count as a fault. However, a clearance price or pre-loved status does not remove your legal rights if an item is faulty, misdescribed or otherwise fails to meet the requirements of UK consumer law.
Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse or failure to follow care instructions may not be covered as a product fault. Each case will depend on the circumstances.
4. How refunds work
Where a refund is due, we’ll normally issue it to the original payment method, unless we agree otherwise or the law requires a different arrangement.
Refund timing can depend on your payment provider or bank, but we’ll process eligible refunds within the applicable legal timeframe.
For online order cancellations, the law generally requires us to refund the standard delivery charge you paid for the original delivery. Additional charges for a more expensive delivery option may not be refundable. Other refund arrangements depend on the reason for the return and your legal rights.
Where only part of an order is affected, the refund will reflect the relevant item or items and any delivery charges that are legally refundable.
5. Ordered the wrong thing?
We know it’s easy to click the wrong size, quantity or product when you’re busy bargain hunting.
Please double-check your basket and delivery details before placing an order. If you spot a mistake, contact us as quickly as possible — especially if the order hasn’t been dispatched yet.
If you’ve simply changed your mind or selected the wrong item, your online cancellation rights may still apply. Any return must follow the relevant cancellation process and legal requirements.
If we send you an item that differs from what you ordered, please contact us so we can put things right.
6. Refused deliveries and incorrect addresses
Please make sure your delivery address is correct at checkout.
If a parcel is returned to us because an address supplied was incorrect, or because delivery was refused, contact us to discuss the available options.
Any deduction from a refund for delivery or other costs will only be made where permitted by law and applicable to the circumstances. We won’t use this section to remove any refund rights you’re legally entitled to.
7. Payment disputes and chargebacks
If there’s a problem with an order, please give us a chance to help by contacting us first. We’ll do our best to resolve the issue fairly.
If a payment dispute or chargeback is raised, we may provide the payment provider with relevant information, such as order details, correspondence and delivery records.
We take suspected payment fraud seriously and may report suspected fraudulent activity to the appropriate parties where justified. This doesn’t affect your right to raise a genuine payment dispute or exercise your consumer rights.
8. How to contact us
Need help with a return, refund or faulty item? Get in touch through the contact details on our website.
Please include:
-
Your order number
-
The item you’re contacting us about
-
A brief description of the issue
-
Photographs, where useful
We’ll review your message and let you know what happens next.
9. Your statutory rights
This policy is intended to explain our returns process, not limit your legal protections. Your rights under applicable UK consumer law remain unaffected.
Happy bargain hunting,
The JJB Bargains Team
